President Trump may not need to ‘contest things’ in Supreme Court

President Donald Trump won’t need to contest the election result in the Supreme Court if the states hanging in the balance other than Pennsylvania could “come home in an orderly way,” according to Peta Credlin.

The 2020 election has come down to a few key swing states including the rust belt states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, as well as Trump heartland in Georgia.

Fox News called Arizona for Joe Biden earlier in the evening, but the Arizona government has confirmed there are just under one million votes still to be counted.

President Trump leads by a comfortable margin in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Michigan, while leads by just over 100,000 votes in Wisconsin.

“It may not end in the Supreme Court,” Ms Credlin said.

“I sort of feel, Pennsylvania – maybe, maybe not – but the other states I think could possibly come home in an orderly way for the president that he doesn’t need to contest things in the Supreme Court.”
