Wrapping up 2022... all aboard for 2023 (The Burgandy Street Singers - The Marrakesh Express)

As we wrap up our work here at the Television Vanguard desk for 2022, we thought this final clip is the best way to say goodbye for now... The Burgandy Street Singers on The Ed Sullivan Show singing CSN's hit The Marrakesh Express. This late 1960s/early 1970s time is exactly the kind of television we have wanted to highlight these past ten years... a glimpse as a time like no other, before or since. Fifty years have passed, and there has never been anything like that 1960s and 1970s television era.

We remember and smile.

Climb aboard as we depart the 'golden age' (in our minds) or broadcast television of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, and we begin our trek into television (broadcast and cable) of the 1980s and 1990s, beginning this coming summer of 2023.
