Please be aware that these are only my recommendations. Other students might say the stuff I've recommended isn't needed at all and it will also vary depending on what uni you go to and what they provide you with. However, I hope that this can be somewhat useful.

*In regards to the JRCALC Pocket Book* : if you're planning to go to university in a year or so I wouldn't recommend buying the pocket book just yet. There is three years difference between the most recent copy and the previous copy but they could bring a new one out sooner. They're quite expensive for a little book so I don't want you buying one to then need the updated one when you actually start university. I had the 2017 edition for about a year before starting university but 8 months into the degree the new version came out and I had to purchase that one too.
