A Social Robot for Children with Social Difficulties | ESP32 + PIC + Wireless Motor Control
This robot is designed to support children facing loneliness or social interaction challenges. Built using an ESP32 and PIC18F57Q43 combo, it responds to speech, shows emotions via OLED, and moves with joystick input using NRF24L01 wireless communication.
My role in this interdisciplinary team project focused on motor control and wireless communication using:
🧠 ESP32-S3 for central control
🎮 PIC18F57Q43 for joystick and movement logic
📶 NRF24L01 for wireless command transfer
📦 Key Features:
Touch and voice interaction
Real-time motor control (L293DD)
Emotion display (OLED)
Wi-Fi audio feedback via ESP32
