Notes on Nature TV 8: Big Garden Birdwatch tips, How birds keep warm & ducks that swim in circles

It's time for Big Garden Birdwatch! We've got some wonderful garden birds to show you, from a cheeky blackbird to a plucky blue tit. There's a bird feeder tip from our wildlife gardening expert Adrian Thomas, and TV broadcaster and RSPB President Miranda Krestovnikoff explains how birds keep warm in winter. We look at some ducks that seem to be swimming in circles, and there's an update on our campaign to save our Minsmere nature reserve. Finally, we have a moment of calm with a tranquil visit to our Loch Leven reserve.
