Stir Fried Korean Fish Cake

Stir Fry Korean fish cake is a very popular Korean side dish (banchan, 반찬) .

Korean fish cake is called eomuk (어묵) or odeng (오뎅). Eomuk is a Korean term while Odeng is a Japanese term.

Korean fish cake stir fry is called Eomuk Bokkeum (어묵볶음 )
or Odeng Bokkeum (오뎅볶음).
Bokkeum which means stir-fry.

Korean fish cake is very cheap and making side dishes with it is also easy and quick. For these reasons, lots of Korean restaurants commonly serve this as a complimentary side dish.
Ingredients
korean fish cakes 1 pack (300g)
onions 1/2
green onions 1/2
carrots 1/4 thinly cut into long strips
garlic (minced) tbsp
soy sauce 2 tbsp
oyster sauce 1tsp
starch syrup 2-3 tbsp
sugar 1 tsp
red pepper flakes 1 tsp
black pepper a pinch
sesame oil 1tsp
sesame seeds 1 tbsp
