DEVO Paint-a-Thon

Watch the wonderful volunteers from Denver International Airport spend a day paying it forward. Many DIA employees and their families showed up to paint the house of a less-fortunate homeowner.

The Paint-a-Thon is a DEVO hallmark activity that brings together city employees from across all departments and agencies into teams that, in a single day, paint the homes of a dozen or more elderly and disabled Denver home owners. This is in the 11th anniversary of DEVO's participation in the Brothers Redevelopment Inc. Paint-a-thon and the 36th anniversary of Brothers Redevelopment Inc. in giving to the community. Each year, several departments formed one or more of their own teams to help build better relationships with their coworkers while helping the less fortunate.

Brothers Redevelopment began the Paint-A-Thon in 1978. In that time, more than 6,700 homes and homeowners have benefited from the Paint-A-Thon. The Paint-A-Thon is a volunteer-driven program that receives financial support from sponsors. The volunteers and sponsors are essential ingredients to Brothers Redevelopment's Paint-A-Thon.
