Summer Solstice, a wildflower meadow, afternoon tea and a nap. The perfect day!

The longest day, the shortest night. At least here in the northern hemisphere. Anna took me to a nature reserve, a simple bit of river and field which is maintained as a wildflower meadow. Once all fields looked like this. So many beautiful species of flowers and grasses, insects and birds. I hope you get a little sense of the beauty we enjoyed there.
