TOP 10 LONGEST EXPRESSWAY IN INDIA

Expressways are the highest class of roads in the Indian road network. They are six or eight-lane controlled-access highways where entrance and exit is controlled by the use of slip roads. Currently, approximately 1,583.4 km of expressways are operational in India.

10.Allahabad Bypass Expressway
Allahabad Bypass is an 84.708 km (52.635 mi) access controlled highway and it forms a part of the Golden Quadrilateral. Construction of road from Km. 158 to 198 (except the Ganges Bridge)

9.Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway
Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway is a 90 km long access controlled toll expressway connecting Jaipur, the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan to Kishangarh. The expressway forms a segment of the NH-8 which is a part of the Golden Quadrilateral project.

8.Mumbai Pune Expressway
The Pune - Mumbai Expressway is India's first six-lane concrete, high-speed, access controlled tolled expressway.[1] It spans a distance of 94.5 km connecting Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra state and the financial capital of India, with Pune.
The expressway, which was fully operationalized in 2002, introduced new levels of speed and safety in automobile transportation to Indian roads.It is one of India's busiest roads.

7.National Expressway 1 (India)
The Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway (also known as National Expressway 1, or the Mahatma Gandhi Expressway[1]) is an expressway connecting the cities of Ahmedabad and Vadodara in the state of Gujarat, India. The 93.1 km (57.8 mi) long[2] expressway reduces the travel time between the two cities[3] from two and a half hours to an hour

6.Eastern Peripheral Expressway (NE II)
Eastern Peripheral Expressway or Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) Expressway or National Expressway II is a 135 km (84 mi) long,[1][2] six-lane expressway passing through the states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh
Eastern Peripheral Expressway is expected to divert more than 50,000 trucks away from Delhi and reduce air pollution in Delhi by 27%

5.Western Peripheral Expressway
The Western Peripheral Expressway or Kundli-Manesar–Palwal (KMP) Expressway, is an operational 6-lane (3 lanes in each direction),[2] 135.6 km (84.3 mi)-long Expressway[3] in the Haryana state of India.[4][5] Along with the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the Western Peripheral Expressway is expected to divert more than 50,000 heavy vehicles away from Delhi

4.Mumbai Nashik Expressway
Mumbai Nashik Expressway (mr:मुंबई नाशिक द्रुतगती मार्ग) is a 150 km (93 mi)[1] long highway connecting Mumbai to Nashik.[2] The total cost of the project is ₹40 billion (US$560 million).[1] At the time when this project was awarded, it was the largest BOT road project in India.

3.Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad
Outer Ring Road or Nehru Outer Ring Road is a 158 kilometer, 8-lane ring road expressway encircling the capital city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
It gives an easy connectivity between NH 44, NH 65, NH 161, NH 765 and NH 163 from Hyderabad to Warangal

2.Yamuna Expressway
Yamuna Expressway is a 6-lane (extendable to 8 lanes), 165 km long, access controlled expressway, connecting Greater Noida with Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The expressway starts from Greater Noida and ends at Kuberpur on NH-2 towards Kanpur

The Agra Lucknow Expressway/ Taj Expressway is a 302 km tolled controlled-access highway or expressway.It is a 6-lane expressway which is expandable to 8-lanes in future.
