Happy 97th Birthday HANK WILLIAMS SR.! A Tribute!

Hank Williams Sr. is celebrating his 97th birthday in heaven today, September 17, 2020. We filmed this video two years ago on the stage of the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium which was the home of the Louisiana Hayride where Hank Williams Sr. and many others like Elvis got their start. Winston is standing and singing "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" on the stage in the exact spot where Hank, Elvis, Johnny Cash and so many others stood many years ago.

Trivia:
We live not about a mile or two in Shreveport, LA from where Hank Williams lived when he wrote this song, "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". In the lyrics, he talks about hearing the midnight train whining low and we can often hear that train from our house! We wonder if it may have been the same sound that Hank heard while writing this song!
