Walking 20 Thousand Steps a Day
In March of 2020 I walked 20 thousand steps a day for 31 days. I was able to still get this done during our stay at home order and ended up doing about 8 miles of walking every day (some days in our home walking around the house or in place), and burned about 2,70-3,000 calories a day (tracked using my Fitbit). 20,000 thousand steps a day benefits included: weight loss, better sleep, toned legs, and I felt happier at a time when there was a lot to be worried about.
In the video I share more about the benefits, my experience in walking 20 thousand steps a day for a month, and how I made it a game by setting rules for myself.
