The Beautiful Baobabs of Madagascar - Ep. 147

We were on our last sail in Madagascar and hadn't yet seen any baobab trees. That was an unacceptable situation and needed immediate remedying. Fortunately, a beautiful anchorage by the name of Moramba Bay came to our rescue. There were baobab trees on the beach and a hike through the jungle brought us up close and personal to several. Like the rest of Madagascar, it was incredible; just a raw, visceral beauty!
Seeing the trees meant we'd crossed off all the items on our "must see" list and our time in Madagascar was coming to an end. We sailed a few more hops down the coast, making one last stop for diesel and then prepared to cross the Mozambique Channel!
