Marathi Shala BMM New Jersey Exam - Marathi Poem

The Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal of North America is a non-profit organization serving Marathi speaking community at large. BMM initiated the “Marathi Shala” project with the strong commitment and passionate interest to teach Marathi language and culture to the students.

Since 2008, the program is implemented by dedicated volunteering coordinators, teachers, parents and Marathi Mandals at various locations in USA and Canada.

The progressive study guidelines, five level syllabus and the supporting materials are developed. The five level study syllabuses are approved by Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, India. The students are awarded the joint BMM and BV certificates for each level after successful passed criteria of the "Marathi Bhasha" exams.

The student enrolment to Marathi Shala is open to all the students. BMM highly recommends all parents of Marathi Shala students to take a general membership of the local Maharashtra/Marathi Mandal but it's not mandatory.
