Dave's 348 Tri Power 59 El Camino out for a ride

Stopped by Dave's today, to check out his 348 engine issue, in his 59 El Camino. It's a steady miss cruising, but idles very nice on all eight. Good compression and spark in all eight. Dave has gone threw everything ignition, and fuel... twice. Now were wondering if a lifter is bad and/or a bad camshaft??? You can hear the miss fire in the video very well, cruising.

Dave did state the throttle plates were the wrongs ones. One of the parts carbs I gave him, had the correct plates he needed in his carb. Guess he had to drill the screws out.... I think that carb was off that 59 Impala at Zacho's in Romeo.... the former AMC dealer. I stripped it of everything, before the scraper took it, back in the late 80's. That Impala sat there with the hood open since 1964. It was a 283 powerglide car.
