Buttermilk Blonde Hair Tutorial

Blonde Toning creates beautiful pastel blonde results and can enhance or correct unwanted tones after lightening services. Join Eddie Sweeney Wella Professional Global Color Expert, where he will share how to carry out a full head on scalp lightening application, using Blondor Soft Blonde Cream which is specially designed for on-scalp lightening, followed by a blonde toning service using Illumina Color. 

FORMULA:
A) Blondor soft Blonde Cream + Welloxon Perfect 6% 1:1.5  and 3ml WellaPlex No1
B) Illumina Color 20g 10/36 + 10g 9/ + 60g Welloxon Perfect Pastel Developer

Step 1) Divide the hair into 4 sections. Starting at the nape apply formula A to the lengths and ends of the hair, leaving 2cm natural from the scalp.

Step 2) Allow to develop until the lengths and ends become yellow. The white Blondor Soft Cream Blonde makes checking the level of lightening easy, simply removing a little product with the back of your comb and check the exposed level of lightening.

Step 3) Mix fresh product and apply directly to the scalp, taking fine sections. Allow to develop up to 50 minutes or until a very pale yellow underlying pigment has been achieved. Rinse thoroughly and apply WellaPlex No.2 for 10 minutes, followed by shampooing and Blondor Seal and Care.

Step 4) Apply formula B from the roots to the ends and visually develop up to 20 minutes. Rinse and follow with a post-service treatment.
