This is a Japanese-English video about Ishinomaki city in Miyagi Prefecture, a city in North Japan that was hit by the devastating tsunami waves on March 11th, 2011. I was able to talk to some people who live their lives in Ishinomaki today, and I quickly discovered the underlying passion they all have for this city.

The stories about the tsunami and the people start from a few minutes into the video, so I hope that even if this video bores you, you would maybe skip to those parts. It's genuinely beautiful.

This is such a different style and type of video from all my previous content, but I hope you like it.
