Across The Universe (IDC version)

UK producer David McCarthy (AKA IDC) has applied "little more than a digital razorblade and tape block" to hours of Beatles recordings from January 1969 to create completed versions of songs sticking to the spirit of how the 'Get Back/Let It Be' sessions were recorded at the time.

It's a simple process that The Beatles and their producer George Martin used throughout their career, splicing edits of different performances of the same song to get a 'definitive' version as famously heard from 'She Loves You' to 'Strawberry Fields'.

IDC's 'Get It Be' collection also features a selection of the 'Oldies' rocker cover versions that show the band at work and at play.
