Snowfall with total amounts of 30 to 50 cm is expected.
Heavy snow continues to fall in and around the Capital Region and near the Saskatchewan border. An additional 5 to 10 cm is expected tonight in Edmonton and for areas to the east, while areas to the west can expect an additional 2 to 5 cm.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
