RT Clinic: Will available oxygen (PAO2) decrease under three different types of masks? ANSWERED!

Have you ever wondered how difficult it might be to breathe under a non-rebreather, not attached to oxygen? Maybe a CPAP mask that pops off of the circuit? What about a surgical mask?

In this video, I use some common medical tools to provide objective data, instead of subjective responses to these questions.

My goal is not to negate the use of these devices, but give you information to improve your patient care.
