Wild Dove LIVE at Blue Light Sessions January 2023

Wild Dove is the project of Canadian songwriter Devan Christodoulou. He is the former lead singer of the indie-folk band Echo Nebraska, with whom he released two critically-acclaimed records, toured the country numerous times, and performed on international stages. When the band dissolved in 2019, Christodoulou became a parent, and, with the sudden changes in his life, so too did his perspectives evolve. He became a provider in his personal life, and musically, his intentions took on a similar role, "I want to give back to others what music has given me," says Christodoulou, "The messages I've received over the years from people telling me I've helped them get through their grief, that is the mission—that is what keeps me doing this."
With Wild Dove’s first EP, Bound for Glory (2020), we are introduced to a songwriter with a fine-tuned ear for catchy, uplifting melodies and life-affirming narratives. At their core, the songs on the EP are a blend of modern pop and Canadiana rock. They are presented through sweeping, gospel-gilded productions that invoke a peculiar optimism, reminiscent of the feelings one has when spring finally arrives.

About Blue Light Sessions

Blue Light Sessions provides an intimate and unique experience for both artists and music lovers alike. The concert series, presented by JumpAttack! Records, takes place at Blue Light Studio in East Vancouver, BC in the beautiful main recording room. With the entire night being filmed and recorded in front of an audience of 50-60 guests, this intimate live show gives artists the opportunity to build a wealth of content while connecting with their fans and offers the ultimate up-close and personal VIP experience for attendees.
