Reputation Symposium Series 2020 – Covid-19 and Global Business
‘Responsibility, recovery and reputations: geopolitics and global business’ is the title of two webinars hosted by the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation at Saïd Business School. These were organised to replace the centre’s annual Reputation Symposium, which usually runs for three days at the end of August each year, but which was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In this second talk, Alan Morrison, chair of the centre's steering group, led a discussion on global business and the civil society implications of the Covid-19 pandemic. His guests were Rose Marcario, former CEO of Patagonia, and Kumi Naidoo, former Secretary-General of Amnesty International. The third intended participant, Mostafiz Uddin, founder of Denim Expert, was sadly unwell on the day and unable to participate.
