Asterisk Tutorial 42 - SIP Provider Registration [english]

Today we do a thing with a SIP provider and Mathias does some product placement - so welcome back to the VoIP Guys and the complex world of SIP provider registration.

All things being equal, the process would be the same for every VoIP provider. Sadly, however this is just not the case which is where it gets complicated with two most common authentication approaches being IP based and Registration based.

In order to continue with registration based authentication in your Asterisk solution you will need your SIP Registar / proxy, username and password.
