I recently discovered a Discord bot called Midjourney that allows you to input data into an OpenAI engine which then renders an image on a GPU cluster based on your criteria. Despite whatever your feelings may be about this new technology, one thing is clear, it's not going anywhere.

This video was created by be using Midjourney. I wanted to feed song lyrics into the AI and see what kind of artwork it would generate. Not only do I love this particular Bright Eyes song, it has some pretty incredible imagery that I suspected would create some interesting results.

For the most part, I stayed pretty pure when it came to inputting the lyrics in, but there were some exceptions I had to make when it spit out what I considered garbage or where the bot flat out wouldn't let me use a certain word. Surprisingly, "kids playing with guns" was okay but it had a problem with "deafening pleasure."
