How to Roll Your Rs for Spanish, Italian, and many other languages. The “trill” sound you hear in many languages can be difficult for native English speakers, but chances are you can do it with a little practice.

In this video we talk about the two different kinds of “r” sounds in Spanish, including the Alveolar Tap for soft r’s, and the alveolar trill for trilled r’s. You’ll learn about each of these sounds and how to produce them step-by-step. We’ve also included two different exercises you can use to practice.
