---In short the answer to that question is that Paul has played right handed guitars fluently for years and or upside down.---

A fan finds his idol Paul McCartney, hangs out with Paul & Wings and gives his bass to Paul only to have Paul return it a few weeks later, he returns home and in late 1974 decides to sell the bass in order to obtain another one, this is later regretted and leads to a 42 year journey that eventually leads to a miraculous recovery of the bass. A lot of twist and turns and destiny leads to the basses discovery and return.
