Air pressure Science Experiment

With just a few simple household items, you can try this simple and fun science experiment to see the effects of air pressure in action.
In order to hold heavy objects, it is necessary to lower the pressure inside the glass. In this case the atmospheric pressure will be able to hold some weight.
When gases are heated, they expand. When they are cooled, they contract.
When the candle goes out, the air inside the glass cools and compresses, sucking the water inside from the napkin. If no gap is left between the glass and the napkin, the air inside will be discharged and the atmospheric pressure will help lift the weight.
