Restoring Two Legends : PPSH 41 vs PPSH 42 Machine Gun Restoration

In this restoration video, I’m bringing two legendary Soviet submachine guns back to life: a **1941 PPSh-41** and a **1942 PPSh-41**. These iconic weapons played a crucial role in World War II, known for their high rate of fire and reliability in battle.

I found these pieces in rough condition—covered in rust, with missing parts. Restoring them was a real challenge, but the result was worth it!

### Here’s how I restored them:
🔹 **Disassembly & rust removal** – I carefully took them apart and used electrolysis to remove deep corrosion.
🔹 **Barrel & internal parts cleaning** – The bore was clogged with debris, so I cleaned and polished it to restore functionality.
🔹 **Stock restoration** – The wooden stocks were cracked and weathered, so I sanded, repaired, and refinished them.
🔹 **Metal refinishing** – I re-blued the steel parts to match the original wartime finish.
🔹 **Reassembly & testing** – Once everything was restored, I put them back together and ensured they worked smoothly.

I’m really happy with how these PPSh submachine guns turned out—it was an intense but rewarding project!
