1980 Original Voltus V Movie - Frontier Enterprises (American Dub Version)

This was my favourite video as a kid. My dad used to have to rent the VHS for me every week. When the video store was closing down he went and bought me the video, which I have still to this day and used to watch daily as a kid in the mid-late 80's for years.

Finally in 2020 I bought a video convertor and transferred it from VHS to now savour forever as a digital version.. it is a nearly 40 year old VHS! So it is not a clean... there are some VHS lines and little spots where the tape was chewed up a little (not much) and a little fuzz on the bottom frame for authenticity.

This is how it used to feel watch this every other day on old TVs and VHS.

I only found out about 10 years ago that Voltus 5 is Voltes V and is a 40 episode animation series.. I always thought it was just a movie for decades!

NB: Video Classic is the Australian distributor of the movie, researching this this is the Frontier Enterprise dub version from what I gather as there is a short ad after the credits for Mazinger Z which validates this..
