As you can tell from my reaction, finding out I am pregnant was a huge shock. I filmed this video thinking there might be a slim chance I was because my period was so late. But, I really just thought it was because my cycle was still regulating itself after coming off birth control a few months prior. For those of you who have been on birth control for a long time (for me, 10 years for hormonal acne), you know that it can take a long time for your cycle to return to normal. My reaction was that of complete shock and it definitely took a day or two for the news to settle in. My emotions shifted from shock and surprise to a heart full of joy and love for our little one. Luke and I are overjoyed to have a child together and we are so thankful for this huge blessing God has entrusted into our care.
