Chicken Rescue North Camden, NJ

On April 10th, I received an email about 50 chickens in abandoned home in North Camden. When I arrived animal control was helping but couldn't hold them. The chickens were there to be slaughtered and if we didn't get them out locals would steal them. 20 were taken to a farm in Mt. Laurel and the 65 left were rescued to the Funny Farm Sanctuary in Mays Landing, NJ.
