Uppercut Bag Variations for Boxing and Street Fighting
http://www.OldStyleMuayThai.com
This video shows how to make and use an uppercut bag for developing power in your strikes.
There are two types of uppercut bags that you can use, the first type hangs from an overhead support and moves freely when struck.
The second type which is what I'm showing on this video is secured from moving around when you hit it.
This bag will help you develop power in your strikes as you work with it.
You can go for rounds or short power bursts of 10-20 seconds to develop explosive striking power.
To make one just use an old heavy bag and cut off the straps and duct tape the middle of the bag if it needs it.
Then tie it with some nylon or cotton cord and secure it to a wall or frame.
You can also adjust the bags height to either hit lower or higher, depending on what you want to train.
The bag I'm using weighs about 65 pounds but you can use as heavy a bag as you like.
Although the bag is used for uppercuts, you can also use it for other strikes, think outside the box when training with fighting equipment, just be creative!
Take care and don't forget to like the video!
