In Episode 2 of GCS Connect: Leaders Series, Salman thinks some changes we may see in the future with regards to recruitment would be a greater freedom to recruit from more rural areas since remote working possibilities will increase. This can expand to include international locations as well which will greatly change the processes of management and HR.


Salman A. Hashmi - Technology Consultant/Senior Solution Architect – Ericsson


Salman spent 20 years of his services in the field of Telecom & IT. He has been working in Ireland since 2009 as a Technology Consultant & Senior Solution Architect in the domain of IP/Cloud/SDN and NFVI. During his career, he has travelled extensively across the globe and has worked with over 30 IT/Telecom service providers.


He is experienced with Mobile Operator environments in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa, Europe, and North & Central America. He is a Bootcamp speaker in global events and has been instrumental in driving workshops for Technology Architecture & Product Design with Development teams and workshops for Operators in various market units.


Salman initially graduated in the domain of Electrical Engineering and did a post-graduation in Computer Engineering. He also pursued a master’s degree in Information Systems Strategy Management.
