Emotional Veteran Ken Bembow Describes Meeting His Wife of over 70 Years | Good Morning Britain

Ken Bembow has slept with a picture of his wife since she passed away last year. A video has now gone viral of one of his carers, Kia Tobin giving Ken a pillow with his wife's face on it so he can sleep with that instead. Ken and Kia spoke to Piers and Susanna about how they're coping throughout this time, and there was not a dry eye in the studio!

Piers and Susanna praised Ken and his carer Kia who both, at the age of 17, made sacrifices for their country. Ken was 17 when he served his country during the Second World War and now his 17-year-old carer is helping in the battle against coronavirus. Piers was so impressed with Ken’s war experiences he suggested having him on a special episode of his Life Stories series.
