Installing HD Offroad Engineering shackle relocation brackets on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee

In this video we are Installing HD Offroad Engineering shackle relocation brackets on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. HD offroad offers a bolt in kit at a great price. This kit bolts to the unibody as well as in the factory location. As you see in the video, I needed to have the extra bolting locations. The kit offered by HD off road helps increase rear axle articulation by increasing the ability of the leaf spring to flex. It also increases ride quality by lowering the angle of the shackle. This type of kit also has a chance of adding 1" of lift.

I ran into an issue where the rear leaf spring mounting location was rotted and loose. This type of relocation bracket secures the leaf spring to the unibody for more support.
