Dave Edmunds "Sweet Little Lisa" (feat. Albert Lee)

Dave Edmunds invited Albert Lee to play on this song and one day in 1978 they conspired with Nick Lowe, Bill Bremner, Terry Williams, and some sketchy hangers-on like Graham Parker, Phil Lynott and Huey Lewis to lend their support. A 1979 BBC documentary film, "Born Fighters," captured about three-quarters of an hour's worth of the end result for historical posterity. It has been mashed up, re-edited and remixed and then synced to the final soundtrack that was included on Edmunds' master album, Repeat When Necessary. Albert Lee's performance is truly spellbinding.
