Frame Reinforcement on 1964 Impala Lowrider Hydraulics. This video is intended to help other learn how to reinforce a frame for hydraulic setups. The 64 impala was made with a X frame that can't withstand the force produced by hydraulic suspensions for very long. It is necessary to take the proper steps in reinforcing the stress points on the frame. Same goes for many other lowriders, reinforcement is almost always a must. I have personally seen the aftermath of a hydraulic setup without reinforcement, sagging doors, sagging fenders, most common is the body will start to crack behind the back window where the entire rear frame has bent downward due to weight in the trunk.
