Yes I know this is actually a commercial. But to be honest: We absolutely loved this plane. It is simply awesome. Getting thermal in a height of 5 meters on a flat grassland was no rareness! Unfortunately we didn't had time to really test all its flying capabilities, but what we've seen up until now was definitely stunning. I think the excellent competition results speak for themself!

The whole video ended up in the craziest project we've ever done. We had one plane and exactly 3 days to shoot! Crashing the plane would have been the absolute worst case scenario. But fortunately everything survived well - and so did we. Afterwards, the scenes on the frozen lake were extremely risky. Actually the lake wasn't really frozen. There was no hard ice. You could dig half a meter through the snow and then there was already water :O
Regarding the "story": I don't think there is much left to say! I think nobody has ever done something similar before. We just tried it, and I think it worked out pretty well.
