Louis Vuitton Fondation Paris

In seiner Eigenschaft als bedeutender Kunstsammler gründete Bernhard Jean Etienne Arnault 2006 die Stiftung Fondation Louis Vuitton. Arnault beauftragte den kanadisch-US-amerikanischen Architekt und Designer Frank Owen Gehry (Goldberg). Für seine dekonstruktivistische Architektur wurde Gehry 1989 der "Pritzker-Preis verliehen. Sein berühmtestes Bauwerk ist das expressiv gestaltetes "Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao".
Die Stiftung Louis Vuitton ist ein 2014 eröffnetes Privatmuseum im Westen von Paris, am Rande des "Jardin d`Acclimatation" nahezu unmittelbar an der Grenze zur Gemeinde Neully-sur-Seine. Es entstand auf Initiative von Bernhard Arnault, dem Vorstandsvorsitzenden des französischen Luxusartikelkonzerns Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH). Das von Frank Gehry geplantes und gebautes Museumsgebäude zeigt meist Werke des 20. Jahrhunderts.
Das Gebäude mit vielen futuristischen Glassegeln ist ein Architekten-Meisterwerk welches
Paris Touristen besuchen sollten.
