Fujifilm 60mm 2.4 R Macro Review

A short term review of the Fujifilm 60mm 2.4 Macro. Along with the 35mm 1.4, this is the oldest lens in the X-series line up. It's not a lens I use a whole lot, but it's handy to have in certain situations. I purchased it used on eBay for just $250 which is lower than the average going price right now, but mine has some issues with the aperture ring which is why it was cheaper. Optically though, there isn't anything wrong with it and it works great! So, for the amount of money I paid, I'm willing to have a specialty lens that I only break out to do detail shots at weddings or the product shot every now and then. For my purposes, this lens is fantastic. It's small and light (which I'm a stickler for), it's sharp and I love the why it renders the overall image. Autofocus can be painful at times, but luckily I don't use it in a way in which I rely on snappy autofocus.
