Mercedes 450sel 6 9 engine oil change

Changing the engine oil on the 6.9. The process is a little different to other non dry sump engines, but not particularly more complicated. There are three drainage regions; the sump, the reservoir and the filter as illustrated. Remember to check it at the end with the engine running at operating temperature. Its also a good idea to check how much oil came out once drained compared to how much you put back in! As always, im not a mechanic so do as you see appropriate! Thanks to TJ.
