In this video, Wes takes a trip around our fulfillment locations to bring you an exclusive behind the scenes look at what it takes to add a product to Printful's catalog.
Our head of new product development and merchandising Elina puts Printful's products into two categories:

Products we buy ready-made blanks for. Our t-shirts, mugs, hats, and others.
Products we make ourselves. Like our cut & sew leggings, where we make everything in-house - from the construction to the finished product.
Adding a product to Printful is not as easy as taking a photo and uploading it to our website: "We want to give our customers the best quality products for all techniques we offer - DTG, embroidery, engraving, sublimation and cut & sew" says Elina. And it's not only developing new products our merchandisers do daily. "We also look after all our existing products to make sure they’re the best quality, that we catch out any bugs - software or fulfillment. Sometimes we have to discontinue products because our suppliers run out of stock. We maintain the stock levels for products. And we’re constantly adding new mockups, new product photos, thinking of new ways to grow those products and make them sell better" notes Elina.
