As for why I opted for the XF400 over the XA50 because if you look at the specs of both of the cameras, they are very similar..For me though it came down to the XF400's ability to shoot video in 4K at 60 frames per second...If you are someone who doesnt need for 4K and 1080 HD is enough for you...the Xa50 will likely do the trick for you ..but if you need 4K...your e gonna want to take a closer look at this camcorder...I will say I have owned this camera for over 6 months now and I love shooting video with this camera...It is a dream to use and I am so happy that I bought this camera...Truth is I could talk your ear of on how much I enjoy this camera
