See 'Near East to Far West: Fictions of French and American Colonialism' At The Denver Art Museum

Featuring more than 80 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and decorative arts, 'Near East to Far West: Fictions of French and American Colonialism' is the first exhibition to consider the important and overlooked connection between French Orientalism and representations of the American West between 1830 and 1930. This exhibition aims to acknowledge complex colonial histories, celebrate artistic achievement, and question ongoing stereotypes.

Now on view through May 29, 2023. Included with general admission, which is free for members and everyone 18 and younger.
