DIY Mini Easel Stand | Folding Mini Easel Card Stand

Creating a folding mini easel stand in 4 easy steps. I built this easel for a friend who needed something to display her small art projects. I just used scrap wood from around the shop. The easel folds to make shipping easy and is great for cards or other artwork.

Steps:

1. Measure and cut (if needed)
2. Measure and drill holes
3. Cutting dowels
4. Assemble and sand

Materials and Tools Used:

1. OPTIONAL - Miter Saw - Used for cutting scrap wood to size so only needed if you are working with wood that requires cutting down to size
2. OPTIONAL - Tape measure - Measure cuts
3. OPTIONAL - Mallet - Used to hammer dowels in. Not needed if it the dowel fits easily
4. Hand Saw - I used a pull saw to cut down the dowels but cutting the dowels can be done in a wide range of ways.
5. Sand paper (sander optional since hand sanding is possible)
6. Wood pieces and dowels
