Process of Applying for Ph.D and Scholarships in Canada (Hindi)

Hi Guys,
In this video, I have briefly described the process of applying for Ph.D. Positions and scholarships in Canada. There are usually two main routes to apply for Ph.D. Position. They are: advertised positions that are released by the supervisors depending on the availability of funds These funds can be either industrial or government-based funding. The positions are usually advertised in subject-specific websites. For ex: if you are looking for plant based Ph.D. position then you will have to look in the websites that releases the Ph.D. position in plant related subjects. The process is simple as it requires you contact the supervisor directly with certain documents. It is usually mentioned in the advertisement. Mostly, you will have to submit your CV, recommendation letter, research proposal, statement of purpose and IELTS. The next step will be the interview with the supervisor if you are shortlisted in the interview. Similarly, the other way is the structured program where the University releases certain position depending on the availability of funds. These funds are usually collected or generated from the organisation either public or private who are focused in solving big problems related to healthcare and environment. These funds are then allocated to various departments or laboratories in the Universities. The positions are usually advertised on University Websites. The process of application same as unstructured program but the criteria of selection might be little different as the selection will done by a team of scientists not just one supervisor.
