La ardilla es un mamífero roedor.

Es un animal muy inquieto y muy nervioso. Todos vemos a la ardilla como un animal gracioso debido a su parecido con el personaje de Ice Age.

Viven de 6 a 7 años, son animales diurnos y omnívoros.

Las ardillas dan grandes saltos entre los árboles aunque la ardilla voladora es capaz de planear.

Las ardillas son animales preciosos los cuales por suerte no están en peligro de extinción.
