After months of speculations and rumours, Team Ineos confirmed that multiple Tour de France winner Chris Froome is leaving the team at the end of the 2020 race season. The British grand tour winner has spent his entire WorldTour career on the team, winning every grand tour and multiple stage races along the way, but with the rise of Egan Bernal and his potentially career ending injury it is understandable that he was looking for leadership opportunities elsewhere.
