DIY Skater Dress with Sleeves + Circle Skirt - How to Sew Stretch Knit Tutorial

In this tutorial I show you a simple easy way to make a stretch fabric skater dress with sleeves and a full circle skirt - no zipper or store-bought pattern needed, you just need to have or make a circle skirt pattern. This was my very first sewing tutorial so I didn't feel confident explaining how to draft the circle skirt pattern at the time, but I show you exactly how in my newer version of this circle skirt skater dress tutorial linked above!

MATERIALS NEEDED:

At least 2 yards of a stretchy knit fabric - avoid super lightweight stretch fabric to make this dress easier to sew!

Paper for drawing sleeve

Basic sewing supplies: sewing machine, tape measure, ball point needle, thread, scissors, pins, etc.
