Tibetan Beef Stir-fry
375 g sliced beef
1.5 c bell peppers
5 cloves garlic
3 dried or fresh chilis
0.5 tsp Szechuan pepper (substitute black pepper)
1 Tbsp soy sauce
0.5 tsp salt
3 Tbsp oil
Slice beef into thin strips. Dice garlic. Fry aromatic spices in oil over medium-high heat, then add beef. Sprinkle with salt and stir-fry until pieces separate well, then add peppers. Finally, add soy sauce and continue cooking until tender. Garnish with cilantro.
