Stories From the Heart of Louisiana | Keith Calhoun, Chandra McCormick | Storytellers Summit 2020
Born in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Chandra McCormick and Keith Calhoun have chronicled the African American experience in the city and surrounding countryside since the early 1980s. At Storytellers Summit, they shared an account of how they met and stories from their years of work, including the nearly devastating loss of their archive by Hurricane Katrina.
